The rugged, highly visible Kody Technologies 16-inch LED Rack Light creates eye-catching tail, brake, and turn signals. The tail light turns on six of the twelve LEDs at partial brightness.  The LEDs animate or sequence left or right for turn signals.  And the brake light when activated turns on all LEDs to full brightness,overriding the turn signals.  Check out this YouTube Video showing the light in action.  The light integrates cleanly on your rack and uses a standard 4-pin or 7-blade trailer connector for easy installation.  
 
This rack light is designed specifically for the Thule T2 Pro bike racks. This light does not fit the original version of this rack built between February 2016 and January 2017. Check the serial label at the bottom of your rack for the manufacture date. The original rack design has a narrow tray adjustment width of 8" while the newer version were increased to 12". The tray adjustment bracket is the bracket welded to the rack's center beam where the bike tray attaches to the rack. The light can be modified to fit. Cable Lengths
We offer three cable length options.  The cable lengths include Short  (5'), Long (9') and Super Long (13').   Each cable measures a bit longer than the foot length shown.  The Short cable will work in most applications using a standard bike rack with up to four bike trays.  Please see our FAQ page for information regarding how to select the right cable length for your rack set up.  
 
Pivoting Light
This light uses our friction hinge pivot design.  The pivot allows you to adjust the position of the light so it can be seen in both the up or stored position as well as the down or bike loaded position.  To position the light just push or pull the light into the desired position.  For more information about Pivoting lights please check out our Pivoting FAQ.  The friction hinge pivot can have issues staying in position when used in combination with our license plate holder, also discussed in the FAQ.  Please reach out to discuss.
 
Vehicle Connections and Reverse Light
For this option, choose between a standard four pin and a standard seven blade connectors.  The four pin connection powers tail lights (including plate lights if added), turn signals and brake lights.   Upgrading to the seven blade option adds a heavier duty cable, a seven pin connector which can power reverse lights and a licence plate light connector (we call it plate ready).  Choose the correct connection to eliminate the need for adapters and prepare for future upgrades.  Seven blade is required for reverse lights.   
 
Also select your reverse light option when choosing a vehicle connection.  The light bracket is designed to hold two reverse lights.  Selecting the Seven blade connection plus reverse lights will add a two pin reverse connection on the seven blade cable as well as two reverse lights.  
 
Configuration and Pricing Note: The total light set up pricing will not populate or update until you have made a selection for all options.  Once the selections are completed and the price is updated you can adjust your selections one at a time to see how the price varies.
